Playful Challenges

Page 12.

Page 12.

A project needs constraints

to exist, be completed.

Challenges narrow constraints

as playful bets.

What creative challenge you choose,

expectations you have for results,

and constraints you create

for your experience all effect

the whole picture/event.

Curiosity, learning, desire to test and

adapt within or beyond your comfort,

all these are part of feeling compelled,

excited, or potentially frustrated.

You direct and compose to fit and

choose a challenge for where

and who you are right now.

Brief reaction to transcribing this page.

I wonder about folks reactions to these meditations and transcriptions. I'll enable comments with moderation as an experiment to see what happens. Years ago I had comments enabled on various projects and it was a huge mixed bag.

This page isn't marketing for my workshop specifically. It's more my workshop and this page are both expressions of something I care about.

Yesterday's post was about facing, including, co-existing with creative demons. Today we visit a page called Playful Challenges. Both topics are highly on-brand for me.

Brand is a vexing topic for me as an individual whole being. What is our brand as individuals? Where are we making a mark? I mostly understand brand for an endeavor, product, business. I think I associate brand with specialization and specialization with avoiding being a generalist. Interesting topic to explore, another one of those blog notes to future self.

Creative challenges are a kind of training I feel great enthusiasm about, have practiced a lot. Am practicing right this moment as the words enter this editor.

Blogging every day for a year. For reasons.
